EOM Operations Supports Georgia Cities Week – Richmond Hill

The City Richmond Hill will celebrate Georgia Cities Week April 22-27, 2018. Georgia Cities Week is an annual celebration sponsored by the Georgia Municipal Association to highlight the contributions Cities make to the lives of their residents.

One of the most highly anticipated activities this year is the curbside pick-up of large items not normally picked up by the City. See the City’s Facebook or Website for a full schedule of activities.

This opportunity is available for the City of Richmond Hill’s current water account users in residential zoning areas only. Curbside pick-up will include large items such as appliances, furniture, and other bulky items not normally picked up by the regular trash service. All-City residents should place their items on the curb by 7 a.m. the morning of scheduled pick-up.

The following items will not be collected: tires, hazardous waste items, paint, refrigerators, freezers, oil or oil-based product, grease products, batteries, gas or gas-based products, lawnmowers, Freon or Freon based products.

Again, residents are reminded that if their subdivision is scheduled for large-item trash pick-up, the items need to be placed curbside no later than 7 a.m. the morning of scheduled pick-up.

Subdivisions will be serviced once only on the day indicated. Yard waste will be picked up on the regularly scheduled days.
